The ancient road from Troia to Assos is to be walked now! Truva Kültür Rotası: Truva'dan Assos'a, yürüyüşlere hazır! Unesco's World Heritage, Troy can now be reached on foot from Assos, you can also start the road from Assos. The best views while trekking is from Assos to Korubaşı or Koruoba. You can start this trail from Assos and just let it be a daily trip, you can end in Korubaşı or Koruoba. Otherwise you can carry on hiking until Troy, the total hiking kilometers are 120 from Assos to Troy. Alexander Troas, Tavaklı, Apollo Smintheus, Bademli, Koyunevi, Bektaş are highlights of this ancient trekking trail that also offer accommodation.
Camping is also an idea, just bring water and some snacks. Inbetween water resources arer some kilometers. Sleeping along this route in the nature is perhaps one the activities in Turkey that will bring you closest to the stars.
